hotel amenities
-
Cellular and data service availability fluctuates depending on the location.
While most of our hotels offer internet access, it's worth noting that the connection may be slower than optimal.
-
It is recommended to bring an electrical converter or adaptor for any appliances you bring from home.
meals
-
Absolutely. We offer an array of freshly prepared, wholesome, and delectable food during our signature picnics. Additionally, our hotels and ships offer high-quality cuisine.
-
Kindly provide information about your dietary restrictions, intolerances, and allergies before your trip.
Your Trip Guide will communicate your restrictions to the establishments we visit, such as restaurants, hotels, and ships.
However, we cannot ensure that allergens won't come into contact with the food during preparation. Please note that our dining facilities do not have dedicated cooking spaces for allergen-free items or separate dining areas for guests with allergies or intolerances.
-
For trips featuring hotels, we cover all breakfasts, the majority of lunches, and most dinners. Meals not included provide the chance to savor regional cuisine at your discretion. Our Trip Leaders will recommend some of their top local dining spots.
-
To uphold our dedication to choice and value, alcoholic beverages during meals are typically not covered unless specified.
personal belongings
-
We recommend leaving valuable items at home.
If you must bring them, understand they're solely your responsibility, regardless of any advice. Keep them with you or use a secure hotel safe. To prevent forgetting items in the safe, leave something memorable (like a shoe) with it.
Cash, jewelry, and passports should stay with you. It's risky to leave valuables in Impact vans; while rare, break-ins can occur.
We'll transport your valuables for convenience, but we aren't liable for damage or loss. This applies to personal electronics and other items, like luggage, jewelry, and delicate accessories.
-
No, you won't have to carry your luggage. Trip Leaders handle luggage transportation to your hotel room or lobby. They can also assist with any purchases you make during the trip. You only need to carry snacks, daily clothing, and personal items.
On Biking trips, our bikes have optional trunk bags for essentials (rain jacket, snacks, wallet, etc.). Backpacks aren't recommended for comfort while riding, so we limit gear to the trunk bag. If a day pack suits you better, ensure it fits well and isn't too bulky.
For Walking & Hiking trips, a well-fitted day pack can enhance your experience. Choose one large enough for layers, snacks, water, and personal items, but not overly heavy. Consider packs with compression straps, gender-specific designs, and hydration compatibility to avoid carrying water bottles.
